Looking to rejoin the ranks of merchant mariner. Have been working as an Electrician/maintenance tech since last ship 1992.
Experience
Worked for A.P.L., Matson Navigation, Waters marine, Union 76, Spent 6 months in U.A.E on my last tour in 1991/1992 as Carpenter on the President Taft for Sailors Union of the Pacific. Wife got pregnant and started a career shore side as a electrician/maintenance tech. Have enough sea time for Able bodied seaman or Q.M.E.D. Looking to restart my sailing career.
Education
Went to vocational school for maintenance mechanic.
Certification
Certified maintenance by the state of California. Have enough seatime to be Q.M.E.D or A.B.
Skils
Journeymen electrician, O.S., Wiper, Utility, Messman. Enough seatime to upgrade in engine room or on deck.
