Objective
I would very much like to be part of a ships crew, preferably as an officer. I passed all of the Royal Naval interviews and assessments apart from the eyesight requirement.
Experience
July 09-Jan 10 Freelance photojournalist working with photographer Greg Brennan and Richard Simpson, celebrity editor for The Daily Mail. Publications in national newspapers and magazines in addition to sales in America, Japan and Australia, including a front page publication in The Mail.
September 07- June 08 Waited on in the ‘L’Etoile de Montmartre’ restaurant in Paris 75018; this greatly helped with proficiency in the French language.
August 06-Present Organisational Assistant to Dr Alistair Bates and Farmhand for an ecologically aware farming initiative based in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales close to family residence. I was able to job-shadow and work alongside the general manager, Dr Bates, and resultantly gain invaluable project management experience. Part-time basis, generally during the summer months.
July 06- June 08 Spreadsheet Designer and Data Entry for business department of Queen Mary College, University of London; part-time basis to help fund studies. I was charged with producing databases and input forms for various senior lecturers primarily for input of exam results and student details. I greatly improved competency with the Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Access.
