10/89 - Present U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Atlanta, Georgia;

Title: Environmental Scientist;

Responsible for geographic information system and remote sensing projects utilizing ENVI 4.1® and ArcGIS9® applications. Projects vary from Region-wide to site specific and include concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) analysis, historic hazardous facility site location. Responsible for integrating remote sensing technology into Regional programs. Project Officer for the information technology support contract for computer and programming services for the Region. Responsible for maintaining oversight, control and accountability of on-site contractor personnel as well as development of performance work statements, oversight of contractor performance, coordination with Work Assignment Managers, review and approval of invoices. Coordinate all hardware/software maintenance for Regional EPA GIS users. Organize monthly GIS user group meetings. Editor of monthly GIS

01/88 - 7/89 Lowe Engineers, Inc. Atlanta, Georgia

Title: Assistant Project Manager;

Coordinated project activities on digital firing-range mapping projects in the U.S. and Germany. These involved extensive project coordination/database development, as well as infrastructure data collection and conversion. Wrote and assembled proposals. Made client presentations. Responded to RFP's and RFB's. Performed Intergraph workstation training to US Army Corps of Engineers in Germany. Performed facility mapping at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Dahlgren, VA. Completed mapping and facility as-builts for European Division USACE Grafenwoehr Training Facility, Barvaria Germany.



6/81 - 12/87 Southwest Florida Water Management District, Brooksville, Florida

Title: GIS/Photogrammetric Analyst;

Conducted numerous natural resource related mapping and GIS projects over District owned lands, wellfields, agricultural areas, phosphate mines, etc. Coordinated contracts for large-scale topographic mapping. Performed GIS mapping using interactive workstations and Zeiss analytical stereoplotter. Performed landuse/landcover mapping and agricultural inventories. Utilized airborne CIR video to detect vegetative stress.



8/79 - 1/81 Martel Laboratories, Inc. (now GEONIX Corp.), St. Petersburg, Florida

Title: Photographic Interpreter; Interpretation and delineation of wetlands for the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) utilizing high altitude color infrared aerial photography. Performed biological field assessments on selected ground-truth sites. Trained new staff in interpretation techniques.
