* Responsible for the overall management of the company’s World Yacht brand, a premium positioned brand, with
three vessels in the New York Market generating annual EBITDA of $1.5 million.
STAR CRUISES, Louisville, Kentucky 2005 – 2006
General Manager The largest dinner cruise ship in the Kentucky/Southern Indiana market.
* Employed as consultant and negotiated seller financing arrangement to assume ownership.
* Executed re-branding and product modifications implementing cost controls / profitability modules.
ENTERTAINMENT CRUISES, Chicago, Illinois / Boston, Massachusetts 1998 -1999 / 2003 – 2005
Consultant A dinner cruise industry leader operating multiple brands in several markets.
* Served as interim General Manager to turnaround the disappointing performance of the company’s
new brand in Chicago. Focused on market position and sales growth initiating sales force performance directives.
* Assigned to reverse a three year revenue slide for the company’s premium brand, Odyssey Cruises in Boston.
* Implemented productivity measurements for sales representatives, and quantified market demand by geography
and market segments. Assisted the Vice President of Marketing with focus group research.
HORIZON CRUISES, LLC., Weehawken, New Jersey 1999 – 2003 Managing Partner. A start-up company offering upscale dinner cruises in the New Jersey market.
* Responsibile for conceptualizing and developing all aspects of the business opportunity including market potential,
location, product positioning and initial financing.
* Oversaw all daily operations, including sales / marketing, restaurant / vessel operations and accounting.
