Astutely managed the break bulk and bulk agency as Charterers’ Agent and Owners protective agents for ships calling Kolkata, Haldia and Paradip ports. Maintained liaison with Cargo interests and ship-owners; coordinated all operations for cargo imports and exports; marketed project cargoes for heavy lift carriers; provided cargo leads for effective chartering and brokering activities in the group. Business leads to chartering department and pre fixture and Carter party negotiations for Beak bulk and Bulk cargoes.
Instrumentally handled the Private Railway BLC Wagons Operations like coordinated delivery and despatch of 10 nos. newly built rakes (each 45 wagons) from manufacturing yards in Kolkata for Hind terminals; maintained close relations with Railway personnel for running empty and container loaded rakes with smooth despatch to western India from container sidings in Kolkata.

A key person as an In-Charge as Logistics back office in Kolkata for Delmas- All-India equipment monitoring and logistics control; agency work for Ceekay container Lines, NVOCC subsidiary of Parekh Marine group based in Dubai; agency work for SINOKOR Lines with effect from Mar’03; agency work for MLO Hamburg Sud of Germany.
Effectively planned, supervised and loaded operations of Car Carriers of “Eukor” (joint venture of Wallenius –Willhemsen and Hyundai Motors) on PCC vessels calling Chennai for import- export of Hyundai cars. Improved car operations and lifting rate from 160 cars per hour to 440 cars per hour with training, good ship –shore planning and monitoring of car moves.

Successfully travelled to other ports in India and Bangladesh for attending work of Parekh -Marine, developed operational and business interests for the Parekh Marine Group.

Oct’98-May’00 with PacMarine Services {Insurance Division of Jardines Hong Kong} as Project Cargo Surveyor
Effectively coordinated and handled complete Project cargo shipments, China to India both break bulk and containers, for hydro electric dam construction at upper Bhote Koshi River in NEPAL. Project developed by a joint venture consisting of Hiomal International Power corporation Pvt ltd; Hazra Engineering Co. Int. pvt Ltd and Panda Energy International of USA and Project Construction by China Ghezube corporation.
Successfully carried out entire road route survey from port to Project site.
Distinctively assigned with the control and supervision of discharge from Ocean carriers/ shore logistics, transportation of heavy, over-dimensional machinery to the dam site from Kolkata and Haldia port.
