Assist with incoming phone calls and routes to proper person; take and distribute messages. Ensure phone coverage at all times.
Assist in other administrative duties including data entry.
Maintain patient database, records, census, and statistics.
Coordinate/perform designated materials management activities, including: Inventory Control; placing orders with vendors; Receiving incoming orders; Stocking, rotating, and maintaining inventory.
Process and maintain materials management records and files, including purchase orders, receivers, and invoices, packing slips, open and closed files.
Reconcile and submit completed and closed purchase orders to pharmacists for submission to accounts payable.
Maintain asset control systems for tracking owned and rented pumps and other home medical equipment.
Maintain proper function of equipment and pumps before and after patient use.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws.
Pick supplies and equipment for patient orders as indicated on the ship order.
Assemble/package medications, supplies and equipment in appropriate shipping containers.
Assemble patient information packets as needed.
Coordinate mailing of patient satisfaction surveys.
Obtain patient signatures on ship orders and other forms as indicated.
Perform pick-up of supplies and equipment at completion of home-therapy and complete appropriate paperwork for returned patient goods.
Assemble, package and coordinate deliveries for commercial carriers, such as Federal Express and United Parcel Service deliveries
