Jan 04 to date OSM Singapore



Fleet Technical Manager responsible for New Buildings within the Far East sphere, Successfully lead the site team in Yantai China. building the second SSP2 Sevan Marine Storage Platform. Presently responsible for new buildings in Indonesia (Anchor handlers), Singapore (Jack Up Rigs) and China (Anchor Handlers n Car Carriers (Nan tong).



Aug 02 to Dec 03 Kvaerner / AKAR Philadelphia Shipyard



Project Manager in the building of the 252m (l) container vessel named Munukai, Liaising with all internal steel and outfitting departments, Class, Insurance and US Coast Guard, Owners and Turnkey contractors.



June 01 to Aug 02

Fleet Technical Superintendent / Business unit area Tech Manager. to Dragamex Mexico, transferred to Guyana to carry on functions of fleet technical Superintendent of the Caribbean and South American based fleets. Transferred to Lisbon Portugal as Area Tech Manager for the Iberian Peninsular fleet.



Dec 99 to May 01

Namco South Africa Pty



Fleet Technical Superintendent, responsible for all engineering functions, Project estimating, budgeting Insurance cover and financing, as well as new upgrade conversions and improvement off all Namco owned vessels.



Aug 98 to Dec 1999 KVAERNER IMGB, RUMANIA



Transferred to Kvaerner IMGB as Project Manager for a 40m Us$ investment programme. Introducing western style production ideas, Restructured Fire, Security, Health and Safety and welding, Steel fabrication and Maintenance / Electrical Departments,



Feb 97 – To July 98 KVAERNER VYBORG, RUSSIA



Maintenance and Steelwork Director. Carried reorganising, streamlining and reducing manning levels within the all departments, responsibilities included all steel and pipe works onboard the Sea Launch project.



1990 – Feb 1997 KVAERNER GIBRALTAR LTD



Senior Project and Departmental Manager of the Engineering and Steel Department. Responsible for Machine Work, Mechanical Fitting, Steel Works, Welding, Pipework, Testing, Electrical and Maintenance Works. Period highlighted by two year conversion to Drilling Ship. M.V. Muralengo.



1984 – 1990 GIBRALTAR SHIPREPAIR LTD



Gradual progression form Project Manager to Senior Estimator and Invoicing Manager. Involved in numerous projects in major engineering and steel damage repairs and modifications. One year attachment to Dubai Dry docks as Estimator / Project Manager, Further attachment to British Petroleum Shipping, carrying out duties as Third Engineer on British Petroleum River Type Tanker M.V. Security.



1971 – June 1984 MECHANICAL DRAUGHTSMAN, H.M. NAVAL BASE, GIBRALTAR



Gradual progression from apprentice to mechanical fitter, to forman of bench and machine sections to work supervision and on the Draughtsman and Designer on additional and alternations to Leander Class Frigates and Mine Hunters. Promoted to Senior Draughtsman May 1983.



1967 to 1971 APPRENTICESHIP – MOD (N)



Carried out a four-year City and Guilds Mechanical Engineering Indentured Apprenticeship.
