To accept the new challenges that job of HSEQ manager offers, where I can utilise my skills and diverse sea based experience to deliver the best performance to support the management of Wilhelmsen Ship mgmnt. and hope to lead in future.
Experience
I started off my sea going career in 2005 as a deck cadet, and have sailed as a deck officer in ranks of third officer, second officer and chief officer.
My sea going experience has been on variety of merchant vessels including LNG tankers, afra-max tankers, suez max tankers, VLCCs, Product/Chemical tankers, Bulk carrier and Dynamic positioning vessel.
Presently working with Shell onboard LNG tankers.

? 2005-2007: Acquired extensive hands on tanker experience as a deck cadet onboard tanker with Seaarland ship management.
? 2007-2012 Gained experience as third mate and second mate onboard different types of oil tankers with Seaarland, Dynacom and Shell Ship managment. Received Five recommendations for promotion to chief mate when working with Shell Ship management.
? 2012-2013 – Due to excellent performance on oil tankers was transferred to Shell LNG fleet and worked on LNG vessel as 2nd officer.
? 2013-Present – Chief officer on Shell LNG fleet.
? Experience of working onboard dynamic positioning vessel.
? Actively involved in two refits.
? Experience of working on ice class 1A tanker operating in Baltic Sea in ice season.

1999 Passed Secondary school exams with 87.2 %,Securing
first rank in my district.
1999 Secured 90% marks in national maths Olympiad.
2001 Passed High Secondary school exams with 86.2 %,
securing first rank in my district. I was awarded
Best student of the year award.
2002 Got selected in prestigious IIT – JEE exam (Ranked
one of the toughest exams in world)
2005 Bsc in nautical sciences from Mumbai University
securing 75.8%, securing second rank in college. I
was awarded trophy for “Best all round cadet”.
2007 Received COC for second mate.
2011 Received COC for Chief mate.
2014 Completed college for Master’s exams.
2014 Cleared Professional qualifying exams for
Institute ofchartered ship brokers, soon will
receive membership of ICS.
2015 Pursuing MBA in shipping and logistics.

Skils
? Good knowledge of various international shipping legislations, industry standards and its practical applications.
? Conducting various internal audits such as ISM, ISPS, Navigation, Environmental, Cargo, MLC and Galley. Involved in closing out process of observations.
? Actively involved in preparing vessel for SIRE inspections by various oil majors, HSSE audits, inspections by port state, flag state and the class.
? Have been active member in various investigations.
? Good understanding of KPI’s and active encourages its understanding to full team.
? Hands on experience on manoeuvring the vessel to berth and mooring the vessel as command centre.
? Have been actively involved with the compatibility study of LNG vessel with various terminals.
? Experience of working with the oil major, “Shell” which has high HSSE standards. Have been actively involved in reviewing existing procedures and formulating new procedures.
? Excellent IT skills. Good experience with Microsoft office and other windows based applications.
? Highly proficient in English language both written and verbal.
? Conducted various training sessions onboard to improve the HSSE culture onboard and to train the juniors.
? The ability to be an active team member of a dynamic team and to perform productive under pressure.
? Ability to analyse the information in great detail and to deliver the accurate results in minimum time.
