Transportation Safety Services Office/Account Manager 10/2006-Present

Manage fifteen transportation companies’ safety files to ensure that they are in compliance with the Transportation Safety Administrations rules and guidelines. Review records to ensure each of my client's drivers are qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle. Put together reports and send to my clients to let them know where their company would be if a DOT audit would occur. I also manage a small office while the owner is out of the office to ensure that things are streamlined and done in a timely manner. Ensure that reports and drug and alcohol testing procedures are done IAW with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines. Have had two DOT audits with minor deficianies.



Coastal Transport Driver Manager/Driver 2/1996 - 10/2006

Mobile, AL



Managed up to fifty two drivers per day ensuring that they get the information needed to perform their duties. Responsible for staffing each truck assigned to the terminal and ensures that each driver is trained to perform his or her jobs. Use a computer system to track the trucks and the loads. Fill out daily reports and send to the cooperate office. Call customers to inform them when the load should deliver. Call shippers to get loads for trucks that are in the Mobile area. We generated over $50 million in revenue per year.

I was responsible for the upkeep of electronic equipment. I maintained inventory of parts for electronic equipment. Responsible for the supervision of logistical support for over 120 soldiers; entrusted with property worth over $20 million. I supervised ninety personnel, eight-army watercraft, and over $20 million worth of equipment. I was responsible for coordinating overseas transportation of logistic support for a unit of 120 personnel. I held a first mates license according to the USCG.
