First Mate, 100 ton USCG

Objective


Obtain a full time position as captain of a 100 ton vessel. I am looking to upgrade my license to a 500 ton.


Experience


Captain / Supervisor So. Cal. Ship Services 2004 - 2008

For the last three years I have ran oil rig contracts. Before that I did a lot of different jobs cargo deliveries to ships both at anchor and under way. I also have done offshore lighterings (ship to ship transfers), where I delivered Yokohama fenders as well as standing by for up to eight days offshore. Back to the oil rigs for the last three years I have been the primary operator responsible for maintaining the total running of the vessel, its engine and crew included.



AB / deckhand Foss Maritime 2006 - 2007—

I worked according to my availability from my present position (on my weeks off), this job was basic AB work running the deck and taking watches.



Captain / Deckhand Sport fishing Industry— 1990 - 2004

Growing up I worked on numerous fishing and diving vessels. My job descriptions on these vessels varied from running the deck to running the vessel. I obtained my 100 ton masters in 1999 and immediately took over the boat I was on.
