Experience

Talent for quickly mastering technology – recently took over the complete maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the on board waste water treatment system (ROCHEM, made in Germany). Accustomed and proficient with AMOS W software for both ship board maintenance and spare parts handling. Cost conscious, implement time saving measures to optimize preventive maintenance routines. Integral part in the everyday operation and maintenance of the electrical plant and associated electrical systems in the engine room. Responsible for testing and calibration of all automation and instrumentation devices. Knowledgeable in the operation of the main switchboard, synchronizing of generators, and restoring power back to the ship after a complete blackout. In charge of the emergency generator unit and emergency switchboard, its operation and maintenance. Additional responsibilities includes but not limited to; elevators, bridge electronic instruments (assisting the chief electrician), photocopiers and audio-video equipments on the broadcast station.
