OBJECTIVE: Seeking Full Time Permanent position as a Field Engineer / Party Cheif
QUALIFICATIONS
Over Fourteen years in the construction industry as a Field Engineer locating and laying out all types of structures from the ground up with little or no supervision. These would include but not be limited to the following, Hospitals, Multi-Story Hotels, Floodwalls and Floodgates, Pumping Stations for flood control , canals, Bridges and Roads, Fresh water Treatment facilities, Mooring Dolphins for Ocean going vessels, Docks on the Mississippi River in the New Orleans area, Rail systems for gantry cranes, Grain elevator conveyors and support systems, Break waters for the US Army Corp of Engineers, Piping and containment vessels for the Petrol Chemical industry such as Chevron, Shell and Exxon. Can read and interpret any and all types of Blueprints including Architectural and structural Engineers drawings, then program ( HP48 GX, HP-50-G+ or Recon/Ranger) Handheld computer and locate any points necessary for construction using angles & distances, bearings and azumiths, assumed or state plane coordinates for stake out of control lines or points along with differential or trig leveling for vertical control (elevations (TBM‘s). Have also done boundary and TOPO work for pre-construction sites. Math skills; Right and Oblique triangles; Plane and Solid geometry. Computer Skills; word processing , spreadsheets, Tripod data systems (TDS) Foresight and Survey Link in conjunction with AutoCAD, can translate and or rotate all coordinates to necessary position if needed. Have used most types of Total Stations, Topcon, Pentax, Wild and Nikon. Also have worked as a US ARMY CORP of ENGINEERS Construction Quality Control manager (CQC) on a small bridge job in the New Orleans, La. Area.

Yates Construction Co., Philidilpa, Ms. All Phases of layout for the construction of the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel addition (15 Floors) located in Biloxi, Ms., Grand Dunes 2, a (26) Floor Condo Project in the Destin, FL. area and three othe 16 story towers inside Kelly Plantation.
