Position : Marine Operations and Marketing Manager.



Duties:

1) To register the new company within all offshore oil companies whom working within Egyptian market

2) To find suitable contracts for the new built Bourbon’s vessels.

3) To evaluate and estimate all the expected Marine Operation expenses including permits and license.

4) To prepare the new work shop and stores.

May 2004 until June 2007: “ESNAAD” Company (one of ADNOC Group)



Position : Fleet and Clients Services Manager.



Duties:



1-Coordinate activities to ensure high standard condition and safe operation of company’s owned and managed fleet.

2-Assist in the management, planning, and business developing of the Marine Operations division activities.

3-Prepare and update fleet survey status report and coordinate efforts to ensure Company’s fleet continuous compliance to the applicable statutory and regulatory rules and regulations.

4-Coordinate fleet surveys, storing, maintenance and repairs.

5-Monitor daily operational status of the fleet to ensure continuity of the quality service rendered to Company’s clients.

6-Participate in the technical evaluation of marine vessels offered for acquirement or charter by the Company.

7-Participate in the Marine Operations division tender evaluation and tender preparation of vessels offered for charter.

8-Plan and implement shipboard inspections and audits to ensure fleet compliance to Company’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System.

9-Execute scheduled and random shipboard inspections to ensure maintenance of the high standard of fleet operational condition.

10-Ensure subordinates proper implementation of Marine Operations Division’s annual and long term objectives.

11-Coordinate and participate in the Marine Operations investigation team analyzing and reporting of finding and recommendations of incidents and non-conformities reports.

12-Communicate with clients (Logistics and Materials/Shipping departments) to ensure fleet day-to-day safe operation and continuous provision of quality service.

13-Participate in the Marine Operations division offshore to onshore manpower re-allocation recommendation committee to ensure continuous availability of adequate operations support personnel.

14-Coordinate efforts to ensure maintain a high standard of crew recruitment.

15-Coordinate efforts to ensure proper implementation of new hire orientation/familiarization program as per Company’s Environment and Quality Management System.

16-Co-ordinate efforts to ensure proper implementation of transferred crew shipboard familiarization program as per Company’s HSEMS.

17-Co-ordinate and complete fleet officers and crew performance appraisal program

18-Provide justification and clearance to contractors and service providers’ invoices against materials supplied or services provided to the fleet.

19- Prepare the operation’s annual budget.

20-Monitor and administer vessels operation expenditure.

21-Undertake other assignments as deemed appropriate by the management.

August 1998 to May 2004 : “SEABULK Offshore” (6 years) – Dubai

Position : Captain of Supply/ Tug / Anchor handling, Port Captain, ISM Auditor, Responsible for updating the fleet vessels Specifications & Company Representative.

Duties : Worked in UAE, Sudan, Yemen, Thailand, Pakistan, Egypt, India, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea & Qatar.



June 1994 to August 1998 : “MUTAWA” Marine Co. (4.5 years) – Abu Dhabi

Position : Captain & Chief Mate

Duties : Worked in All Abu Dhabi Oil fields belonging to ADMA, ZADCO & ABK. During this service, I gained good experience concerning all the different kinds of the dead weights and mooring buoys (Admiralty, fix moorings & fields’ parameters) used in Abu Dhabi oil fields in addition to the profession of using DGPS system for droping the Buoys at the position.



August 1987 to June 1994 : MARIDIVE & Oil Services Co. (7 years)-Alexandria

Position : Chief Mate, Captain & Field Manager

Duties : Worked in all Egyptian oil fields in Red Sea & Mediterranean.



Jan 1984 to August 1987 : 3rd Officer & 2nd Officer on General Cargo Ships (Egyptian Navigation Company).



July 1979 to Jan 1983 : Cadet On board General Cargo Ships (Egyptian Navigation Company & National Egyptian Company)


Education


• Master Mariner (Master Foreign Going = Class II/II), Valid till 11 /08 /2010 Certificate in Conforming with IMO Model Course #(7-01) and it is Amendments issued by IMO.

• D.P. Operator (Holding a dynamic positioning operator’s logbook)
