Communicate w/owner concerning safety procedures, scheduling and site spacing. Responsible for conducting safety meetings and worker safe work practices throughout shift.

Responsible for safe work practices of 135 union contractors installing piping and associated equipment while finishing Hydrocracker and DMS units of Hunt Oil in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Help prepare RFI’s, resolve alignment conflicts throughout units, ensure safe work practices.

Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities on a multi-disciplined project. Promote safety as a value and ensure all work meet ES&H requirements and objectives. Ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design and specifications, completes on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Responsible for work planning, management reporting, cost management, schedule development and maintenance. Communicate with engineering and vendors as required. We installed 600T of steel, 10,000LF of pipe, a new 300kip Waste Heat Boiler and new Selective Catalyst Reduction reactor with associated I&E with a final Incident Rate of 0.161. We were always 7-10% ahead of schedule and several million dollars under budget.
