Experience
Im not so sure if any of this would be relevent to the maritime industry but i would think some of it may be usefull.
From 1988-1991 i began working at scott petrolium in greenwood Ms. as a helper to the diesel machanic.A year or so later i replaced the diesel mechanic.Between working on 11 semi trucks and trailers i repaired autos.I was at one time ASE certified in steering and suspension.
1991-1994 i worked at gatco fire apperatus in greenwood Ms. reparing firetrucks and building new firetrucks from the chassis up.I worked my way up to shop forman at this job.Picking up some autocad skill and skills with a cnc plasma cutter.
from 1994-1999 i worked at S&N sprayer in greenwood Ms.I started as the fabrication supervisor and worked into the welding and fabrication supervisor.Depending on what time of year it was i supervised from 12 to 20 men.I was also responsible for scheduling most of the raw materials we used in our area.
From 1999-2005 i worked at premier mfg in norwood Mo.Another builder of firetrucks from the chassis up.I was the welding and fabrication supervisor.
From 1999-present i have been working for myself restoring wrecked cars and resaling them.I started this while still employed at premier mfg.
If you think i may be of any use to you i would be glad to talk in more detail about my work experience.As you can see spelling is not my strong suit.
