Objective
I plan to pursue a career in the maritime industry, upgrading my license and rank as my sea time accrues, and learning as much as I can along the way.
Experience
Served four years on a 210' Coast Guard Cutter as a Quartermaster 2nd Class (similar to 2nd Mate) in charge of all navigational needs, and managing the bridge watch rotation.
Conducted a yacht delivery of a 82' Swan sail bat from Fiji to Brisbane, AUS.
Served 30 days aboard a 100' Tug Boat operating out of New York Harbor.
Currently wourking out of Boston Harbor, piloting four passenger vessels ranging from 25-38ft including one jet boat.
Education
Graduated high school in 2000. Enlisted in the Coast Guard two years later to comlete USCG Basic training, as well as Quartermaster "A" School.
In 2006 comleted a few semesters at a local Community College.
Recently completed maritime courses including STCW, AB, LBMN, RFPNW

I love the coastline and open water. A few of my hobbies are billiards, water sports, and fitness. I love traveling and camping as well. I am well rounded, and I am very comfortable working both in teams and on my own.
