working independently, getting jobs from the service manager -
to all emergency calls for the generators, ATS's and control panels, work also entails
repairs, quotes, working on a variety of generators from 100kw up to 2.5mgw, minor inspections, major inspections , Site load testing. Load bank testing.
Work on diesels, natural gas and LPG generators.
Meet with customers old and new every day, find out what their needs are, .. Quote new jobs.. Carry out repairs etc. On call 24/7 x 365 days per year.
Work on the south east coast of Florida, from key West to Fort Pierce and inland to Clewiston.

Duties: Worked independently, getting jobs from the corporate office by email, and sourced parts required from various vendors
(if I could do repairs on the spot) Parts were otherwise supplied by the parts department.
Looking after a wide network of customers, doing monthly maintenance checks and inspections, majors and minors, Load Bank Testing.
Repairs, troubleshooting, Commissioning new generator and automatic switchgear etc, 24hrs callout - 356 days per year.
Experienced on diesel and gaseous engines and relevant backends, Generators worked on: CAT, Aggreko, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, Kubota, Baldor,

Using multimeters, Clamp Meters, Meg-Ohmn Testers, Manometers.
Worked on Generators from 5kw to 2mgw. using a laptop to hook up to the generators and Ats's for troubleshooting and reprogramming.
