1992 - Present Oversee Chartering Department, Ship Owning Department, Ship Management & Ship Repairs Department and Operations Department. Oversee a team of Engineer Superintendents, Marine Superintendents and Managers. Chartering in & out per various charter parties time & voyage, post fixture procedures, cargo operations, stevedore operations, terminal operations, ship repairs and complete ship rebuilding. Deal with the Port State Control, Customs, Immigration, Coast Guard, Flag State Administrations, Classification Societies, Port Authorities, ITF, Labor Unions, Banks, Customers, and Vendors of various countries. Complete technical, ISM and commercial ship management from crewing, repairs, technical assistance to booking, carrying and delivering of cargoes under various types of charter parties. Deal with agents and stevedores of various countries. Marketing, purchase and delivery of paper and forest products. Led the company from being Shipbrokers to Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Ship Repairer and Terminal Operators.

2011 - Present Established and managed terminal services in Salem NJ, for liner trade to Haiti and Central America. Set up stevedoring operations, labor, equipment, receiving and handling of cargo. Customs Clearance before export. Provide technical and administrative expertise from remote location. Cargo planning, loading and supervise stevedoring operations for heavy cargoes. Port was closed 2004 for repairs by the Port Authorities, now open again after major remodeling.
President Gulf Components Inc. – Ft. Lauderdale , Florida
India - Marketing Sale of U. S. manufactured electronic components to India and study of market.
1993 – 1993 From cold sales calls, developed six major customers in India, within two months. This division was closed in a few months as U.S. manufactured electronics could not compete with the Far East competitors.
Vice-President Morgan Price & Company, Inc. – Miami, Florida
1986 - 1993 Company was primarily engaged in trading paper and forest products to South & Central Americas. I Introduced a shipping division in this company for vertical integration whereby we would also provide ocean transportation for our goods. Thereafter we time-chartered several vessels to expand the operations to include market transportation for various customers. Then we purchased vessels and became ship owners as well. I was overseeing a team of Engineer Superintendents, Marine Superintendents, Paper Traders, Managers, Operations Managers, Accountants and Marketing Managers. I was responsible for the developing and implementing of key strategies both for the shipping division and paper division. Negotiated purchase of vessels and real estate.
We opened offices in South American Ports as well, where we provided stevedoring services, rental of cranes and fork lifts, pre-slinging operations for bagged coffee. I initiated coffee carriage in bags in break bulk from Colombia to the U.S. for several coffee houses and we became the largest carriers of break bulk bagged coffee. I introduced pre-slinging of waste paper and coffee bags for faster turn-around of vessels. I Handled all types of time and voyage charter parties, pre & post fixture procedures, cargo operations & planning, vessel planning and project cargoes. I negotiated with banks, letters of credits, ship financing etc. I led the company from a leased three bed-room paper trading office to ownership of 40,000 sq. ft warehouse cum office with multinational locations; from paper traders to ship owners.
