•Preparation of estimates after studying the repair specifications of the vessels prior to the arrival in the dock.
•Identification of the work to be carried out on board the vessels on arrival.
•Monitoring and evaluating the progress of the repair work.
•Issuing of variation orders for additional work. Negotiation of the same with owner’s representatives and subsequent co-ordination with repair manager's for approval.
•Coordination with ship owners/superintendent engineers and arranging special materials required.
