Project experience

Practical - through class assignments and part-time jobs during UWI vacations four projects were undertaken. The most relevant to engineering were the projects with the Eric William’s Medical Science Complex where I was employed as a Mechanical Engineer Trainee for three months. Whilst aspects of the work included the maintenance of their high voltage a/c, the demanding and ‘hands on’ work was the labyrinth of plumbing architecture and distributed pumping stations which required most of my physical attention to maintain the integrity of the systems.

Theoretical - two of my projects dealt with the use of computer packages which employed software application programs to aid in design and to simulate real-world conditions for analysis of performance capabilities.
