WORK EXPERINCE



Engineer on boats.

Responsible for maintenance, on mechanical and electrical equipment on vessel. Such as inspecting structural integrity of vessel, miner engine repairs. Rebuilt or replaced pumps. Repaired or replaced components in hydraulic systems, like steering, winches, etc. Install and wired up motors, motor starters, lights, switches, circuit breakers, etc. Rebuilt, replaced, repaired, Pneumatic controls and components.

Pumped Oil, Fuel, Chemicals, Drilling mud, Drilling fluid, Dry bulk, Water, Waste material. Supervised, ABS inspection, Coastguard inspection, Shipyard repairs, and repairs done by Technicians as necessary.

Work with and be involved in other types of jobs, for customers. Consisting of Construction, installation and or repair of, Risers, Riser clamps, Anodes, Hot taps, Platforms, Platform docks, Platform machinery and equipment, Helidecks, Also Pipeline cleaning, Pipeline pressure testing, Saturation diving, Surface diving, Rig moves, Seismograph, blasting and painting. Work with and involved in striping of Platforms and Demolition of Risers, Riser clamps, Platforms, Hot taps, Platform docks, Platform machinery.



Engineer/Mechanic on Construction, Pipe, Barges.

Responsible for maintenance, on mechanical and electrical equipment on vessel. Such as inspecting structural integrity of vessel, miner engine repairs. Rebuilt or replaced pumps. Repaired or replaced components in hydraulic systems, winches, etc. Install and wired up motors, motor starters, lights, switches, circuit breakers, etc. Rebuilt, replaced, repaired, Pneumatic controls and components.

Other Duties: Pumped Oil, Fuel, Water, Waste material.

Gave breaks to personnel at their work stations. Temporarily replaced missing personnel at their work stations. Occasionally operated crane and other heavy equipment.

Involved in installations, removals, repairs of, Risers, Riser clamps, Hot taps, Platforms, Helidecks, Pipelines, and Pylons. Construction, of offshore Risers, Riser clamps, double jointing pipe, etc.



Engineer/Mechanic on Demolition and Derik Barges.

Was heavily involved in fabrication and setup of deck equipment on Demolition barge for the job. Consisting of the installation of and or manufacturing of, Tower, Far Leads, shives for Anchors, Friction Drum wenches, Hydraulic wenches and power packs for them, Sheer and power pack, Hydraulic crane and power pack, Air tuggers, 750 Air compressors, three and one half ton Air Conditioning unit, Fuel day tank, modified piping system for potable water tanks, fabricated Gray waste water tank and piping, installed Waste water pump, installed all Pneumatic controls in control tower or appropriate locations, installed air lines from equipment to all Pneumatic controls in there appropriate locations, installed all Pneumatic activators, Rebuilt the Friction Drum wenches, installed and or fabricated all Hydraulic controls and oil lines to and from power packs, installed all Fuel lines to and from day tank and equipment engines, ran all wiring from equipment to control tower for and installed Tachometers, Pressure, and Temperature gauges, and two Welding machines.

Other Duties: Pumped Oil, Fuel, Water, Waste material. And was heavily involved in removals, repairs of Risers, riser clamps, Platforms, Helidecks, pipelines, pylons.

Yard Supervisor of Texas yard when on standby. Three Boats, two Barges.



Worked Offshore constriction; Structural welder, Supervised Riggers and rigging,

Kept track of needed supplies to be ordered. Repaired old and installed new piping and platform equipment. Repaired platform and installed new platform components.

In yard pre-job construction; Supervised Riggers, Welders helpers, blasters and painters. In charge of opening and closing shop daily, cataloging and storage placement of all pre-job components, such as, prefab piping, stairways, handrails, heliports, deck material, etc. Would also Supervise unloading and storage of various platform equipment, such as Cookers, Filters, Values, Compressors, etc.

Supervised preparation, maintenance, and cataloging of all offshore equipment, such as, welding machines, air compressors, oxygen acetylene bottles, hoses, torches, welding rods, air tuggers, cables, snatch blocks, power tools, hand tools, etc.



Worked as Field Technician/Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic

Drove Service Truck all over South Central & South West Texas servicing and repairing Heavy Equipment, when I wasn’t on the road I worked in the Shop as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Job consisted of, changing any or all fluids as necessary, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic, problems, ordering parts and or picking them up and repairing equipment such as, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Hammers, Bulldozers, Track Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Graders, Rollers, Mixers, Carry Decks, Forklifts, Water Trucks, Dump Trucks, Plows, Light Towers, Air Compressors, and be able to operate the equipment so I could test run them. Also repaired and serviced Service Truck, Welded, and Fabricated some parts for equipment.
