Objective
Looking for a position where my 25 years aboard commercial fishing vessels can be used and compensated.
Experience
25 years ago I shipped out on a 32 foot double ender. Since that time I've worked deck then engine then skipper. My latest charge is a 70' midwater trawler chaseing tuna into the south pacific.
Education
GED and some higher education with a focus on marketing. And a combined 25 years aboard Tollers, Trawlers, and Crabbers. From the deck to the wheelhouse
Certification
I have none they give us nothing but a watery grave in this industry.
Skils
I understand what it takes to keep a vessel at work and I am proficient at mechanics and willing to keep working untill the work is done.
There are hundreds of others with my experience and more on the north pacific coast that are unable to fish in a season that will not open again for years to come. All of theses men are well seasoned and will to ship out at any notice if the pay is good.
