Objective

November, 2008-September 2009 Nistol Services Limited, Lagos Nigeria-

Trainee Marine Engineer Surveyor

- Survey of ships, barges, boats and other marine plants

- writing of technical reports

- Liaison with ship owners and insurance companies

- Data entering and administrative activities

September, 2006-March, 2007 West Africa Oilfield Services, Port Harcourt, Nigeria-

Engine cadet onboard ‘MV’ FALCON WINGS

- Engine room watch keeping to ensure the successful running and maintenance of the

ship’s Engine Room and its equipment.

- Part of scheduled maintenance performed as well as tasks to undertake in the

workshop areas, and repairs to machinery or dealing with any plant breakdowns

- Two months in the office as a Radio attendant in the marine section.



September, 2003-January, 2004 Alpha Manning Services, Lagos Nigeria-

Engine cadet onboard ‘MV’ PENGIUM II.

- Interaction with customers, staff, students and other department whilst at Nistol Services Ltd, Anglian Home Improvements and University of Greenwich helped me to develop a concise and positive style of communication and listening skills.

Team Working - Working within a team at Nistol Services Ltd, Anglian Home Improvements and

University gave me a greater a greater awareness of the contribution each individual

- Being a team captain of my presentation group, I have developed leadership skills and am accustomed to motivating the team.
