Company & Location: Saipem ENI Oil/Gas Exploration, Italy

Responsibilities:

o Supervision, installation and maintenance of electronic and electrical related equipments through the co-ordination of maintenance teams.

o Provides feedback to Engineering and Vendors to contribute to the continuous improvement of manufactured equipment and test procedures.

o Complies with Company and statutory standards, policies and procedures in respect of quality, health, safety and environment.

• Period: 2005 – 2008

Position: Electrical Officer

Company & Location: OSM Offshore Oil/Gas, Houston, Texas U.S.A.

Responsibilities:

o In cooperation with Chief Engineer, responsible for the upkeep, supervision, control and maintenance of vessel’s electrical installations, rig and platform support, including SCADA, SCR – IGBT’s, PLC, automation , instrumentation, ROV’s and DP-installations.

o In charge of all communication and navigation equipment onboard, periodical inspection and maintenance. To be familiar with Company system for Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Assurance, relevant documentation and Company policies.

o To be informed about his responsibilities and duties found on vessel’s Emergency Plan (EM-Plan). In co-operation with Chief Engineer to familiarize, to instruct and to train electrician trainees in accordance with established curriculum, and the requirements for training by the Company and the Maritime Authorities.



• Period: 2004 – 2005

Position: Electrical Engineer

Company & Location: United Bulk Carriers Oil/Gas, Vancouver, Canada

Responsibilities:

o Perform electrical and electronic services work to develop and prove methods, procedures, and equipment, evaluate define and locate design deficiencies and to accomplish special project assignments to solve problems of electronic maintenance, modification and operation

o Responsible for underway maintenance and operation of engine automation, instrumentation, communication and navigation, supervises electric power generation and distribution, and air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems.



• Period: 2003 – 2004

Position: Electronic Engineer

Company & Location: Ramil Hardware, Gapan, Nueva Ecija

Responsibilities:

o Responsible for the installation, maintenance, service and repair of electrical related equipment such as deep well pumps, water treatment plants, vacuum pumps, heavy industry motors used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning and electric power distribution using various test and troubleshooting equipment, power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes and volt/ohm meter. Responsible for all administrative management and engineering functions as.

o Job tasks include support of system engineers and senior technicians in the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various electrical and electronic equipment such as DC power supplies, RF amplifiers, modems and line drivers.



• Period: 2000 - 2003

Position: Electronic Engineer

Company & Location: Festival Cruises – Marceille, France

Responsibilities:

o Analyze test and rejection history to identify problems and develop equipment, supply, and facility requirements for electronics work. Perform assigned duties in and around hazardous materials while maintaining a safe working environment with limited amount of supervision instruction or direction

o Supervises the operation and maintenance of electric power distribution and generation. Responsible for underway maintenance and repair of electronic and communication related equipment such as Close Circuit Television, SCADA, Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), automation, instrumentation , PABX Telephone System, Engine Automation by Alstom, Broadcast and Public Address System, Theater Lightings, Audio and Video System, Fire Detection System, Gyrocompass, GMDSS, Radar, ARPA and Mc Gregor Ship’s Elevators.



• Period: 1998 - 1999

Position: 2nd Electrician

Company & Location: Pacific Lines Oil/Gas – United States

Responsibilities:

o Conduct electronic and electrical services work to develop and prove methods, procedures, and equipment, evaluate define and locate design deficiencies and to accomplish special project assignments to solve problems of electronic maintenance, modification and operation.

o Responsible for underway maintenance and repair of communication and navigation, automation, instrumentation, electric power generation and distribution, and air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems. Equipment includes: SCADA, PLC, SONAR, HF, VHF, RADAR, GPS, Power Plant Diesel generators with parallel switch gear, HVAC, INMARSAT, 4 sets of electro hydraulic 25T capacity deck cranes.

Position: Service Engineer

Company & Location: Philab Industries Oil/Gas, Manila, Philippines

Responsibilities:

o Commissioning, maintenance and repair of scientific laboratory instruments and related support equipment, including water purification and de-ionization systems, compressors, autoclaves, bio-freezer and vacuum pumps. Product line includes: Cole-Parmer (U.S.) measurement and control instruments, TECATOR (Sweden) moisture analyzer, RETSCH (Germany) Laboratory mills, JASCO (Japan) spectrophotometers, and JEOL (Japan) Electron microscope.

Position: Instrument Technician

Company & Location: Octavo Heavy Industries Oil/Gas, Manila, Philippines

Responsibilities:

o Responsible for the installation, maintenance, service and repair of electrical related equipment such as deep well pumps, water treatment plants, vacuum pumps, heavy industry motors used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning and electric power distribution using various test and troubleshooting equipment, power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes and volt/ohm meter.
