POST APPLIED FOR: Senior QA/QC (Electrical & Instrumentation)

OBJECTIVE:

My objective is to secure a job in the field of Electrical Engineering with emphasis on quality control and management system. Experience in handling end to end Electrical & Instrumentation activities.

PROFILE:

• QA/QC Electrical Engineer with more than 7+ years of experience in oil & gas , power plant industries in India & abroad. Experienced in all aspects of QA/QC, management, development of project specific contract quality plan, procedure, work instructions & quality control plans.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Process Enhancements and Man Management & Vendor Inspection & Auditing.
• Expertise in low, medium & high voltage systems installation, Testing & inspection as per required specification and procedure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED:

• Reviewing Sub-Contractors Contractual obligations, QA/QC plans and procedures to verify if they comply with contractor’s contractual conditions.
• Review of Design and Construction drawings including As-Built Drawings
• Guide & direct site engineers, supervisors as applicable to ensure project deliverables fully reflect QA/QC.
• Study the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs. 
• Review records of internal and external Audits performed by the Contractor.
• To conduct regular internal Audits for different departments to ensure that the organization is fulfilling the requirement of Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2008 Standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Main contractor’s MEP coordinators for smooth implementation of Quality Management System.
• Monitor site progress through weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and main contractor.
• Carried out joint inspection activities along with the client representatives on site work based on RFI with the help of supporting documents.
• Was responsible for performing quality check & issuance of conformance / non-conformance report to the contractors.
• Tracking of Testing Equipment’s and Instruments for Calibration Records.
• Preparing TOP Matrixes and SLD s for Commissioning Walk downs.
• Handing over Final Documentation & participating in FATs, SATs.
