Experience
OFFSHORE EXPERIENCE :-
HAVE SAILED ON BOARD FOLLOWING OFFSHORE VESSELS (MOST RECENT FIRST):
1. Senior Saturation System Diving Technician on board DSV Gulmar Falcon: After one trip as ETO, I was transfer to Diving Department in Dec 2008 and promoted to Senior Saturation System Diving Technician after six months on board DSV Gulmar Falcon in Gulf of Mexico. I have been following regular six weeks ON and OFF trips until date. Presently the company if going through bad times, so I am looking for some new challenges in life.
2. DSV Gulmar Falcon (Gulmar Offshore Middle East – DP2 DSV): Worked as ETO on board 33 yrs old Diving Support Vessel working for Mexssub in the Gulf of Mexico. Trip from 27 Aug 2008 to 18 Oct 2008. Suppose to return back after 6 weeks of leave.
3. PLSV Seven Oceans (Subsea 7 – DP2 Vessel): Did two trips of five week each as Marine Electrician on board this modern pipe laying vessel with Kongsberg total integration. Vessel Owned by Subsea 7 and working in Brazil / Angola.
4. DSV Lewek Toucan (EMAS Offshore – Singapore- DP 2 DSV): Took delivery of this brand new DSV from Pan United Shipyard at Singapore. Attended commissioning trails and FMEA trails for DP systems. The vessel is presently working in Malaysian waters. The vessel is fitted with most advanced DP systems and latest control systems. First trip from 27 Nov 2007 to 15 Dec 2007 and second trip from 08 Jan 2008 to 06 March 2008.
5. M. V. Normand Cutter (Sonsub / Saipem – DP2 Vessel): Second 4 weeks contract trip as Vessel Electrical / Electronic Technician on Hi-tech umbilical laying / offshore construction vessel working in the Gulf of Mexico. Duration from 02 Jul 07 to 28 July 2007
6. M.V. Normand Cutter (Sonsub / Saipem – DP2 Vessel): Umbilical laying / offshore construction vessel working in Gulf of Mexico. Did 5 weeks construct trip as Vessel Electrical / Electronic Tech.
Duration from 10 May 2007 to 09 Jun 2007.
7. M.V. Ekteshaf (Fugro Survey Company – DP 1 Vessel): Hydrographic / Oceanographic survey vessel operated by Fugro Survey (Middle East) Ltd, the vessel was involved in monitoring touchdown of the pipelines laid by HHI Derrick Lay Barge HD 423. A free lance trip as ETO from 24 Nov 2006 to 26 Jan 2007.
8. CSO Deep Pioneer (Technip – DP2 Vessel): Pipe layer modified with PPS01 system and ROV support. A total of six weeks trip working in rotation as Instrument Tech / ETO. Joined vessel on 19 September 2006 and signed off on 28 October 2006.
9. CSO Wellservicer (Technip – DP3 DSV): Diving / ROV support vessel working in North Sea. Transferred from CSO Deep Pioneer for remaining 3 weeks trip due to shortage.
10. CSO Deep pioneer (Technip – DP2 Vessel): Pipe laying vessel with ROV support. Worked as Instrument Tech / ETO for a trip of 4 weeks and then transferred to CSO Wellservicer.
11. CSO Wellservicer (Technip – DP3 DSV) : Diving / ROV support vessel working in North sea. Worked as Instrument Technician / ETO on a trip of 6 weeks.
12. MSV OCEAN HERCULES (DP1 VESSEL): A UMS CLASS DP 1 MULTI SUPPORT VESSEL OWNED BY SMIT SINGAPORE PTE LTD. VESSEL FITTED WITH VARIABLE PITCH PROPELLSION SYSTEMS. FROM: 14TH SEP 2005 TO: 11TH OCT 2005, AS A PRIVATE CONTRACTOR CUM E.T.O. TO FIX UP EXISTING PROBLEMS ON THE VESSEL.
13. CLV TEAM OMAN (DP2 VESSEL) : A SOPHISTICATED CABLE LAYER, OWNED BY NICO MIDDLE EAST, DUBAI. , SAILED AS E.T.O. FROM 25 MARCH 2005 TO 13 SEP 2005 SPECIALLY FOR ANNUAL DP TRIALS.
14. CABLE RETRIEVER (DP2 VESSEL): VERY SOPHISTICATED SUBMARINE CABLE REPAIR VESSEL OWNED BY SINGTEL / GLOBAL MARINE SYSTEMS LTD, UK. AS - E.T.O.

A total 22 Years of theoretical and practical experience (including 10 yrs in Indian Navy). Worked as “Chief Electrical Artificer – Radio”.
