Responsibilities Summary:
Responsible for all activities relating to the safety, cost effective and efficient electrical maintenance work for Wartsila Systems at the pumping stations.
Execute routine electrical maintenance activities at the pumping stations to generate maximum practical revenue at the lowest operational cost consistent with high reliability, sound business practices and highest industrial safety standards and with Wärtsilä/OEM recommendations.
Environmental health and safety practices, policies and procedures.
Specific responsibility:
Provide technical support for all maintenance assignment under Wartsila Scope using total quality management techniques inclusive of:-
Planned & unplanned maintenance of engines and auxiliaries
Daily Spare parts and maintenance work planning and forecast
Tools maintenance and control.
General facility maintenance.
Actively take part of assigned electrical maintenance task and ensure timely completed work of high skills in the repairs, inspection, testing, adjustment and installation of Wartsila Machineries and related Auxiliaries.
Implement safety practises, policies and procedures during normal routine electrical maintenance work.
Responsible for Wartsila equipment and facilities at the Pumping Stations. Ensure they are maintained clean safe and are efficient at all time.
Ensure that all electrical maintenance schedules and procedures are strictly enforced and that routine inspections and verifications are completed according to Wärtsilä /OEM recommendations.
Execute all electrical maintenance rand repair at the Pumping Station and ensure that all machines and equipment are functioning according to specifications.
Adopt a flexible and positive attitude for quick response to sudden breakdown of equipment and/or auxiliaries in order to keep Station production undisturbed.
Complete and maintain all logs and maintenance records in a clear and concise manner, in prescribed forms and according to guidelines.
Responsible for alerting Contract Coordinator / Maintenance Manager of any situation which may endanger the Station and/or Personnel and/or Environment and /or fulfilment of contractual obligation.
Responsible for optimum housekeeping by maintaining the Station in a clean and safe condition at all times.
Carryout emergency procedures according to the plant fire and safety Officer in order to protect personnel, equipment and property in case of any fire-incident, accident or failure of safety systems
Utilize all tools, equipment, and accessories in such a manner so as to maximize their useful operating life.
Perform any other task assigned by the contract coordinator or maintenance manager.
