Experience
I am an ex-Indian Navy officer who retired from the Indian Navy in the rank of Commander in the year 2004.I have served in the Indian Navy for 25 years from 1979 to 2004.I have operated on the various ships of the Navy during my service there.
I am presently associated with the Dredging Industry as Master of TSH Dredgers.
Have served on Holland and Chinese built Trailer Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD) in Dredging Corporation of India,ESSAR,MERCATOR LINES and KRISHNAPATNAM Port Companies of India.
Have operated TSHDs of these companies as Master in the ports of Haldia,Hazira,Kochi,Mul-Dwarka & Krishnapatnam in India and Tai-pei Harbour in Taiwan.
Am well versed with initial operations and acceptance and trials procedures of a TSHD.
Can train officers in Operation and Navigation of a TSHD.
Have also worked as Master of a dredge support vessel of Dredging International.
Have over 06 years of epxerience in Dredging Operations on board the TSHDs.
Have experience of 31 years in Ship Operations,Maintenance/ Inspection, Logistics & Human Resource Management.
Education
Graduate with Physics,Chemistry and Maths from National Defence Academy (affiliated to Jawahar Lali Nehru University)of India.
Qualified in STCW courses including GMDSS.
Certification
Certificate of Service as Master(Foreign Going) issued by the Director General of Shipping,Government of India.
Skils
Carry out Dredging in Channels,Harbours,Rivers and along side Berths/Jetties.
I am well versed with initial operations and acceptance and trials procedures of a TSHD.
I can train officers in Operation and Navigation of a TSHD.
