Responsibilities and Job profile



Manifesting accurate Documents for Exports, within the agreed time frame so as to meet the vessel dead lines.

Filing AMS and ACI as per the vessel schedule.

Maintain the track of AMS / ACI vessels and ensure all missing shipping instructions to be completed Before AMS / ACI cut off.

Co-Coordinating with the team and supervisors and Customer service unit ensuring smooth flow of work.

Preparing and sending the missing SI to the concerned officials and Customer Service units

Making the Correction notice as per customer request

Preparation of presentation once for the weekly review meeting and presenting the same to the team and manager.

Coordinating with Service Unit get confirmation for some specific customer and updating the requirement in the Reference Guide

Release the Express B/lading to customer after vessel sailed

Constant communication via Internal Communication System with the local offices in Europe regarding Documentation Issues and urgent requirements of the customers

before and after vessel sails.

Co-ordination with the Europe Management for improving the process, by creating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for different ports and customers in Europe.

Participation in conference calls with the Service Unit’s & solving issues and queries related to Export Documentation.

Responsibilities and Job profile



Updating and proof reading of Bill of lading

Issuing of computerized and manual bill of lading in liaison with marketing dept. after checking against Loading List, Shipping Bill, CLP etc.

Coordinating and follow up with ICD offices for Bill of Lading data. `

Coordinating with Customer service unit / CHA / Nvocc for missing Shipping Instructions / ACD for The cargo manifest

Preparing Freight manifest for local & ICD offices, sending the Manifest to Principle before Manifest deadline

Co-Ordinate with Overseas offices to smooth cargo delivery to customers if MBL surrender at Origin



Co- Ordinate with Overseas office to get the bill released if switch bill request received.

Get the ACD / House bill for AMS / ACI shipments from customers and verify before docs cut off

Issue the correction notice to respective office as per shipper’s request

Issuance of Onboard Certificate to customers

Co-ordinate with various shipping line to get the master / direct bill get released

Issue the house bill of lading to shippers as per Invoice / shipping bill

Issue the Freight Invoice / debit note to shippers.

Co-ordinate with transport companies to get the cargo report

Co-ordinate with other forwarders to get the lcl cargo to make full container

Co-ordinate with overseas buyer to get the cargo’s from various shippers and Arrange the container as per his requirement.

Preparation of Bills of Lading on L/C and non L/C basis.

Preparation of Invoice and packing list.

Negotiation of freight rates with various Shipping Lines

Issuance of Freight Certificate & Invoice to customers

Preparation of All types of shipping bills and Bills of Entry.

Passed Diploma in Computer Application (Ms Office, Cobol, Foxpro,Lotus 1-2-3

Passed Government Commercial Certificate Exam (40 W.P.M.)

Knowledge in Soft link, Lynx, FIS1 & FIS2 Package

Completed training for Hazardous Cargo from the International Maritime Center, Mumbai.
