Presently, I'm working in EMAAR-Dubai Marina Yacht Club Dubai, UAE, as a Dockmaster cum Deputy Marina Manager, an optimistic and determined who practices professional business ethics. Since, based on my work experience and ability to cope up immediately with a task assigned. I confidently believed that I could be a great contributor in the company.


Experience


DOCKMASTER /DEPUTY MARINA MANAGER, 2007 - 2009

EMAAR Properties-Dubai Marina Yacht Club, U.A.E.

• Duty Manager for the Yacht Club

• Managing marina operations: Berthing status, Boat movements, Marina maintenance, Staff safety, Property owned, Government related issues, and Marine Environment condition.

• Organizing meeting and coordinate with boat owners, club members, skippers, contractors, suppliers, brokers, government officials, management, and associates.

• Monitor and Supervising staff on their designated SOP's, roster, daily tasks and health condition.

• Conducting trainings, briefings, and delegation of works.

• Overall in-charge of ensuring safety, security, and sanitation, in the whole marina vicinity.

• Assuring boat owners and club members with full satisfaction of our outstanding customer service.



SUPERVISOR – DOCKHAND/ASST.DOCKMASTER, 2005 - 2007

EMAAR Properties-Dubai Marina Yacht Club, U.A.E.

• Manages and attending to the customer needs, inquiries and complaints.

• Monitor/supervises port/harbor facilities, marina staffs, marine terminal operations for any oil, fuel and other marine pollutions. Responders to the Marine Emergency and Rescue and responsible for the assessment of repairs and maintenance of port facilities.

• Overall in-charge for safety and sanitation in the marina operation and all crew conditions.

• In-charge with the enforcement of the regulation in port and the proper berthing, unberthing, towing, shifting, rope works and anchorage of medium to large scale boats/yachts.

• Responsible for all boat movements and assistance’s on vessels traffic form on daily basis. Checks all reports of the boat drivers, coastguard forms (sailing permits) and details, fuel log sheets.

• Ensures the proper function and usage of all equipments and tools: navigational, seamanship, diving, safety, security, and general maintenance for the whole marina.

• Do paper works and reports.



TECHNICAL OFFICER/CHIEF BOAT DRIVER, 2004 to 2005

Manila Yacht Club, PHILIPPINES.

• Responsible for the navigation and driving a Luxury Yacht safely and the least time possible.

• Responsible for driving, maintenance of the vessel and supervision of the crew on board.

• Ensures the application of international regulations of preventing collision at sea as amended by res. A464 (XII).

• Troubleshooting of the engine and other equipment on board.

• Attending Ship Chandlers, Agents, Customs, Representatives, Inspectors, Stevedors, Police, Bay and Harbor Pilots and other Marine Services in any Cargo Works and other on board Business.

• Manning in Forward/Aft Stations for docking and undocking Ports, for anchorage and heaving up anchor.

• Checking all cargo positions (cars and containers) and classifications to be loaded and unloaded during operation.

• Carrying out all the works of deck and steward departments as per Chief Officer’s instruction. (seamanship, navigation, and galley works).
