Experience
16 years of experience in the commercial diving industry, including diving (air and mixed gas), diving supervision, supervision of u/w construction and maintenance projects in marine terminals. Operations management in offshore and marine terminals installations which involve barge diving operations. Including extended diving experience in Maracaibo Lake, the Bay of Jose and the Gulf of Paria.
Since 1991 to 1995 with PDVSA’s subsidiary Lagoven in Maracaibo lake, first as a diving supervisor and then as Diving superintendent my responsibilities ranged from diving crew supervision to operations planning, evaluation and certification of diving contractors, including active participation in the PDVSA’s diving technical committee orientated to the improvement of human resource and diving techniques in Maracaibo Lake.
Since joining OMG, C.A. in 1997 as Diving Supervisor, I advanced to the position of Operational Manager assisting in all aspects of field operations. Overseeing bidding and estimation, project management, operational logistics, Offshore and oilfield diving including crane barge operations, diving operations in Paria Gulf , marine terminal construction assistance, maintenance & inspection including the setup & regular maintenance (topside & underwater) of two CALM-SPM located in Jose bay and diving assistance to construction of two offshore marine terminals in Eastern Venezuela TAECJ in Jose Bay.
