Overall management of Marine and Consortium Operations in North America. Accountable for the short term and long term schedule planning, integrity, vessel deployment for Pacific Ocean services. Budgeted entire N.A Marine Operation stevedore, terminal, port charges expenses and monitoring cost saving as well. Negotiated  all N.A stevedore contracts. To achieve and safeguard OOCL’s interests with Consortium partners. Set priorities, action plan, implemented Security Policy, procedures and accredited CTPAT status.

Director, Traffic logistic                                                                                 1990 - 1994

Overall management of cargo and equipment flow in North America. Accountable for  cargo selection, forecast, slot allocation, buying/selling, equipment supply/demand analysis and ensured achieved maximum cargo revenue and contribution. Developed booking policies and procedures for N.A traffic control. Assisted to develop new booking

system IRIS - 2 and implemented successfully.

Regional Operation Manager                                                                          1983 - 1990

Overall in charge of Pacific South Region (PSW) operation. Direct Supervision and manage of Marine, intermodal (rail and trucking), equipment control and M&R operation.

Major accountabilities include insuring cargo loading, discharging, intermodal dispatching, equipment availability and maintain all chassis equipment in the best condition. Department performance met and exceeded Corporate standards at all times. Staff consisted of 16 individuals.

Port Captain - Marine Supervisor / SWR                                                        1980 - 1983

Direct liaison with vessel stevedoring, terminal operations and marine personnel. Major accountabilities include coordinating gang arrangement, prepare loading/discharging stowage plan, Hazardous Materials cargo segregation, awkward cargo loading, acting owner protecting agent.

Shell Oil (Tanker) Canada                                                                             1976 - 1980

Served in various vessel crew positions such as  3, 2 and 1 mate. Responsibilities of ship handling, cargo operation, and safety navigation.
