Objective
Ordinary seamen position,
I am interested in working as an Ordinary Seaman for your organization. I am a Deckhand with six months of experience. I include my resume as a first step in exploring the possibilities of employment with your company.
My most recent experience was aboard The Roff Tide (a supply/crew boat out of the Santa Barbara harbor in California) working as a deckhand. I was responsible for all the day to day loading and unloading of passengers and supplies.
If given the opportunity to work for your organization, I would bring a focus of reliability and safety to your company. Furthermore, I work well with others, and I would love the opportunity to work for your company.

Skils
• Thrive on working in a challenging environment.
• Able to handle many different tasks at once.
• Positive attitude
• I held the position of a deckhand. I performed the manual labor. I did just about anything that needed to be done. I changed the oil in the engines, I also made sure the barges were tied and secure. I checked the locks, and tied the barges with cable. I also changed the oil in both engines. I swabbed the decks, and filled the cracks with rope.
