All phases of loading, unloading and water tranporting of coal and other goods from barges and ships to land for disbursement. Drafted and loaded barges, attached Clyde crane and cable to ships. Limited experience with forklifts, bobcats and payloaders.

Position: Mechanic

Engine, generator and clutch service and repair. Responsible for the tearing down and cleaning of engines and their parts as well as rebuilding.

Positions: Assistane Engineer and Deckhand

Involved in all phases associated with the maintaining and smooth running of engine room from repairing and cleaning through color coding and hourly checking. Frequent inspectiond performed. Assist engineer as needed. Bunkering activities inclusive. Mainly assigned to research and supply vessels. Provided quality sanitation with strong emphasis on safety. Involved with the replenishment of supplies including tying up vessel in order to properly perform functions.
