Machinery Technician 3rd Class (2007-2009)

Maintained response readiness of Station boats, including 47’, 41’ and other motor life boats (engines: Detroit Diesel, Cummins Diesel, and others). Saved the USCG over $10,000 through direct assistance with workload at other Station. Conducted several rescues in rough weather and responded to other marine and non-marine distress calls. Performed numerous safety boardings on various commercial and recreational boats.
