Responsibilities – All facets having to do with being a deckhand aboard the Contessa, which sailed in Alaska and the American Queen which sailed the Mississippi River, such as securing and unsecuring vessel to and from shore, being a part of both the firefighting and man overboard team and vessels outdoor upkeep and maintenance.
I also worked as a part of ships security, which included patrolling the vessel at night, bridge watch and gangway watch.

Responsibilities – All facets of residential carpentry including new, remodeling, trim, framing and cabinetry.
Sommerfeld Trim – 1995 – 2001
Responsibilities – As a trim carpenter I trimmed the inside of new high end homes. I set doors ran base board, crown molding, set cabinets, trimmed windows and built custom closets.

U.S. Navy - 1989 – 1992
Responsibilities - As an engineman I was partly responsible for the maintenance and repair of the U.S.S. Thomas C. Hart’s emergency diesel generator, captains gig, motor whale boat, aft steering, air conditioning and refrigeration. My energies were mainly spent on the emergency diesel and both motor boats. I was also refueler of ships helicopter.
