Objective
My goals short and simple. I am waiting for the oportunity as I continue as a deckhand to move up in the wheel house.
Experience
03/17/2010 I started at Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company till 06/14/11. 04/23/07 I was sworn in to the Air Force and finished my enlistment 04/23/11. At Great Lakes I cleaned cutter head on dredge; maintained assigned work boat. Worked from boat to grab anchors and catch tanks to place them under submerged lines. Used the anchor barge to pull anchors, cables, and lines. Rigged tools, equipment and supplies to cranes. Assisted welder and performed fire watch. Worked as a team to "raft" pipes together to move to dredging locations. Attended daily safety meetings/trainings to sign JSAs, wore all OSHA required PPE, and followed all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Performed all duties assigned by captain.
