- In relation to natural entities – to attract commercial partners in Bulgaria (stores) willing to join the Tax Free chain, whereof foreign tourists can later refund the VAT on their purchases made in Bulgaria.

- Ship navigation – setting the route to the next port and physical navigation - operate the vessel at sea in accordance with international rule of the road; navigate by the use of paper and electronic charts, marine GPS, other communication and satellite systems, radar and ARPA, steering and heeling complex.

- Keep accurate daily records and log books.

- Responsible for the Safety – conduct regular firefighting, lifesaving and emergency procedure exercises to evaluate and maintain crew proficiency.

- In ports – communication with local authorities: customs, port and shipping agents.
