Objective


In charge of

- navigational watch;

- Passage Planning;

- Charts and Nautical Publications corrections;

- Assist Chief mate on deck with cargo operations

- navigation in ice conditions

- weekly and monthly GMDSS equipment testing;

Involved in:

- carrying out of various weekly drills, as fire drill,

abandon the ship drill, gas blowout drill, MOB drill,

emergency steering gear drill.

- weekly safety meetings;

- maintenance of navigational and GMDSS equipment;

- cargo operations on deck.
