Objective
I would be interested in a position as a Deckhand on a variety of vessels. i am looking to switch into a new field and get away from fishing. I believe that I could be an addition to any vessel that was looking for an experienced deckhand
Experience
4 Years as Deckhand on F/T Northern Glacier
1 Year on F/T Alaska Ocean.
Several season training in Wheelhouse on F/T Northern Glacier doing:
-Government/office paperwork.
-Wheel watch and chart navigation.
-Running wenches for shooting/hauling gear.
-Organizing and running “Man overboard, abandon ship, and fire drills”.
Education
-MMD-Able Bodied Seaman licensed.
-Lifeboat man certified.
-All STCW classes completed.
