Objective
I would like to work in the industry and put off school so that I can gain experience in the industry before I leave for the military.
Experience
I worked in bars around my neighborhood barbacking and bouncing from 15-18 years old. I also worked as a plumber for six months before starting college.
Education
I am currently finishing my coastal piloting course and I will be finishing my welding and maritime electronics classes. I have a highschool degree and am working on my degree in this program.
Certification
The only certification I have of now is my boaters safety course, but I am going to take my 100 ton captains license in about a month. I will also be taking welding and a maritime electronics class for my major in december.
Skils
I grew up on the beach and have been driving boats since I was a kid. I worked on fishing boats that ran every day over summer for the public. I have worked in plumbing and construction. I am good at working with my hands and do not have any commitments other than my work. Im in very good physical shape because I am training for military bootcamp. Any job you give me I will complete, even if I am not familiar with the task, I will always find a way.
I am 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and high school graduate. I need a job that will allow me to move out of my house and pay enough for me to live off of. I am currently in school so if you contact me about a job I need a certification for, I can always go for the certification. I do not have much time at sea which I know is an issue when trying to find a job.
