Objective
I would like to do deckhand duties,and enginer work such as changing fuel filters and the oil in engines keeping up with the hours on engines and generators.
Experience
I worked for Comar Marine in Morgan City La. from Aug.2000 to 2009 and Lafayette Workboat Rentals in Lafayette La.from 2009 to 2010 on crew boats. I was promoted from deck hand to lead engineer. MY resposibilites for deck hand was keeping the boat clean such as sweeping mopping rinsing the salt of of the boat after we come in from off-shore and tieing the boat down makeing sure its sucure and safe.My duties for engineer number 1 priority was keepig the engine room clean. I changed the oil in the engines and generators and the fuel filters also keep up with the engine hours tighten stuffing boxes transfer fuel and water to platform and also take on fuel and water
Education
I graduated from high school in 1986 and went to college for 2yrs from fall of 1986 to 1988 did not graduate.
Certification
I have my Twic Card it expires Feb.23rd 2014 (my riggers card has expired) and I have my Safty Unlimited Hazwoper card. I have my sea time.
Skils
Maintaing the boat off-shore and loading the boat meaning helping the crane operator position the items on the boat the ones that are heavy sits in the front on the back deck and etc.
Im a hard worker i dont complain I take my job serious I will travel anywhere at any time. Will work 28-14 or more.
