I am applying for the above position mentioned post in your company. I’m used to work under pressure and I’m very willing to learn all the aspects of Ship handling/Navigation if given the chance. I have extensive previous experience as superintendent or new building inspector in ship maintenance,dry-dock and new building projects but would like to gain a qualification onboard so I can retrieve my officer license in navigation.
In the last three years I have been full time student for study Bachelor in Nautical objects during holidays from the Nautical University,i been working as able seaman in Simon Møkster (Supply ship owner) and Bastø Fosen (Car Ferries owner). Overall my experience covers a huge spectrum of ship-handling I am quick to learn new skills and I am a good team player.
