Objective
I would like to work in the Engineering or the Ship handling areas but I have done a variety of jobs while serving the U.S. Navy and am willing to look at all options.
Experience
1986-1988 served onboard USS Glover as an able body seaman, boatswainmate, coxswain and general maintenance.
1988-1990 served ongoard USS Glover as a Firefighter, Gas Free Petty Officer, Classroom Facilitator, Fire Fighting Equipment Custodian and basic Engineering watchstander.
1990-1994 served onboard USS Arliegh Burke as the Repair Division Maintenance Supervisor, stood Propulsion and Electrical Plant watches and Gas Free Engineer.
1994-1997 served as the Lead instructor for a 2.5 week curriculum based course with labratory at Ft. McClellan Al.. Course convened 13 times a year with a minimum of 36 students and a max of 50.
1997-1998 served onboard USS Nashville as the Repair Division Leading Petty Officer supervising all maintenance, watchstanding, production and general personnel well being. Gas Free Engineer and Ballast Officer Certified.
1998-2002 served onboard USS Ponce as the Repair Diviosion Leading Chief Petty Office supervising all aspects of job assignments. Gas Free Engineer and Ballast Officer Certified. Engineering Duty Officer Certified.
2002-2005 served as a Boot Camp Drill Instructor at Great Lakes,Il.. Recertified as a curriculum and labratory Instructor.
2005-2006 served onboard USS Kearsarge as the Repair Diviosion Leading Chief Petty Office supervising all aspects of job assignments. Gas Free Engineer and Ballast Officer Certified. Engineering Duty Officer Certified. Finishing Navy career as an Inspector of all facets in engineering at COMPHIBGRU 2.
