Position: Crewing Clerk
Function / Objective of a Crewing Clerk:
- Responsible for the day and day arrangements of crew changes and flow of information to vessels, seafarers and other involved parties.
Job Description:
- Comply to all submitted line ups seaman’s Pre-employment Checklist and instructions.
- Responsible for the safekeeping of all submitted seafarers documents.
- Follow up medical results 3 days after medication.
- Follow up booking/rebooking of flight details.
- Telex/Fax/cc-mail flight details and other relevant information to agent/vessels as instructed.
- Check correctness and completeness of documents as submitted by crew.
- Prepare 201files of all crew and forward EDP for safekeeping.
- Prepare and forward monthly reports biodata, allotment slips, NIS contract, Certificate of trainings, crew lists by vessel.
- Assist in Immigration/Customs formalities of on/off signing crew in Philippine ports.
- Endorse line up crew for PDOS and issuance of uniforms.
- Assist documentation officer in obtaining NIS, Dutch and other related certificates required.
- Keep OCS system fully updated after crew changes.
- Prepare vouchers for visa fee,terminal fee and others.
- Other lawful orders as may delegated by Crewing Manager and/or General Manager.
