Experience
I) Eight years part time office assistant for Wagner Kirkman Blaine Klomparens and Youmans, a leading Estate and Tax Law Firm in the Sacramento, CA area.
1. Clerical - created files, organized files, copy jobs, scanning jobs, post office retrieval, office supplies procurement, assisted with office expansion and relocation a high respected fifty employee law firm.
2. Warehouse - created and maintained high value, long term document storage.
3. Archiving - managed filing work in the firm: active files managed in office, closed files managed in storage facilities.
4. Database - entered and retrieved information on clients to update.
II) Summer internship at the United States Secret Service field office in San Francisco, CA.
1. Counterfeit work:
Note Identification, mailing counterfeit receipts, logging counterfeit notes into the Secret Service Mainframe. The Counterfeit Team at the San Francisco Office spent time teaching me the basics of deciphering a multitude of counterfeit notes such as Inkjet and Toner note classifications.
2. Protection:
I had the fortunate opportunity to ride in the motorcade of Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Prime Minister of Denmark, as he toured the Bay Area. I rode in the Intelligence SUV of a three SUV motorcade followed by two media private shuttles, while being escorted by a state and municipal a law enforcement personnel.
3. Intelligence:
I sat in on briefings whereupon law enforcement representatives from the United States Secret Service, the California Highway Patrol, and multiple police agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area gathered to plan complex, coordinated visits for the Prime Ministers of Denmark and the United Kingdom.
Firearms:
I was taught basic firearm safety and maintenance for the standard issue sidearm for the Secret Service, shotgun the agency uses, and finally the MP-5 submachine gun.
5. Law Enforcement and investigation:
Assisted agents in case work and accompanied agents to federal court house.
