Over 10 years experience as night cook, chief steward on commercial fishing boats in Alaska, including Pollock, crabber and cod longliner as well as breakfast cook/baker, head cook and chef/manager for rig camps in the remote areas of Wyoming. Familiar with all phases of cooking, baking and managing. Good health - good physical strength. Personable and friendly in dealing with people. Great communication skills. High energy,dependable. Proven ability to produce within a very demanding work schedule. Exceptionally well organized. Strong work ethics and willingness to work hard.

~ Handling in a timely manner all managerial duties - i.e. time sheets, any paperwork involving smooth running of camp.

~ Responsible for all staff - ensuring everyone working as a team - leading weekly staff meetings with emphasis on safety & teamwork.

~ Plan menus and order accordingly on a regular basis.

~ Prepare and cook foods of all types (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks & baked goods) on a regular basis.

~ Supervise and coordinate activities or workers engaged in food preparation.

~ Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.

~ Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.

~ Estimate amounts and cost of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.

~ Plan food so that items served together are finished at the same time.

~ Grill and garnish hamburgers or other meats such as steaks and chops.

~ Perform simple food preparation tasks such as making sandwiches, carving meats and brewing coffee along with keeping juice containers full.

~ Order supplies and stock them in their appropriate places.

~ Read recipes or formulas in order to determine cooking times and temperatures and ingredient specifications.

~ Clean, wash and sterilize equipment and cooking area, using water hoses, cleaning or sterilizing solutions or rinses.

~ Tend or operate and control equipment such as kettles and cookers in order to cook ingredients or prepare food for further processing.

~ Measure or weigh ingredients using scales or measuring devices.

~ Ability to shift back and forth between two or more activities.

~ Knowledge of techniques and equipment including storage/handling techniques for food.
