Objective
• Overall responsibility of Container Terminal Equipment covering Project & Maintenance activities. Ensuring smooth running and maintenance of the Container Terminal Equipments i.e. MHC (LIEBHERR Make), RTGs (FELS Make) and Reach Stackers (LINDE & TIL Make). Prepare annual and capital budgets. Identify and evaluate new equipments, machinery, technology and systems required for the container terminal. Effectively manage the cost of spares and inventory. Ensuring equipment reliability, safety and performance meets the required levels. Device and implement preventive & predictive maintenance programs. Training and development of staff in Engineering- ensuring a learning culture and encouraging staff to carryout in-house training on area of expertise. Installation of new equipments & the planning of associated infrastructure. Tender preparation along with the technical requirements and procurements of new equipments. Vendor managements with good contacts of equipment manufacturers.

I): A.B.G.Kolkata Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. , Manager Engineering (Technical head) (2009 – Till Date)
I am looking after the servicing & maintenance of Mobile Harbor Cranes (LIEBHERR 320 & 425) with BROMMA spreaders, RTG (Fels), Reach Stackers (LINDE & TIL) & Trailers, along with the maintenance team of 55 people, purchasing of spares, looking after of the administration part for the maintenance team, coordinating with vendors and etc. Looking operations for container yard.
II): DHARTI DERDGING as Deputy Manager (2008-2009)
I was responsible for Maintenance & Operation of DREDGERS & BOOSTERS (Engines, Hydraulics, gear boxes & Electrical) of all models in various region of India, along with the maintenance team of 35 people, purchasing of spares, looking after of the administration part for the maintenance team.
III): ESSAR SHIPPING HAZIRA (1997-2008)
as Sr. Engineer
I was in the servicing & maintenance of FLOATING Cranes (FIGEE ), TUGS & MBC, Rectifying problems of engines like Wartsila, Cummins & Cat up to1800kw, engine overhaul, Gear boxes, changing the gears & bearings & Hydraulic winch with servicing of hyd motor &pumps.
