Objective
IMCA Qualified Air Diver with over 9 years experience in diving industry. Graduated from WCCDS and sertified as South African Class II 50m, ( HSE Part 1, IDSA Level 3 (Deep Surface Supply)) Air Diver in 2006. Since then obtained over 4 years experience in working offshore at 50 meter depth using surface supply commercial diving gear to inspect, survey, repair, remove or install equipment and structures, using a variety of power and hand tools, such as:
-Impact Wrenches, Drills, Grinders, Cutoff Saws, Chain Saws, Chipping Hammers, Tork Wrench, Inclinometer, Hammer Drills, Breakers, Sledgehammers, Torches, Lifting bags, Air Lifts, High Pressure Water Jets. Conducting CP, UT readings and tests on U/W structures.
Experience
Inspection and maintenance of SPM CALM buoy lazy ‘S’ configuration with the mid water buoy at 30m and the PLEM in 50m water depth. 22 inch Hoses and Marine Breakaway couplings change out. 16-22inch flange and 16 inch Butterfly valve change out on FOB hose. Anode installation. Installation and removal of a bell mouth on the power cable and Methanol pipeline. Pre-trench surveys of the underwater pipeline and power cable. Inspection of the trencher machines and their positions on the pipes. Hydro power plant rehabilitation. Installation of Runner Blades and Wicket Gate. Survey and inspection of Kaplan Turbine, Runner Blades, Wicket Gates. Cleaning. Poti harbor Break water Rehabilitation. Survey of X blocks positions. Recovery and replacement of X blocks. Repair of High Speed Internet and Electric Power Cable damaged part. Carry out routine under water video inspections and photography. Concrete Matting Lay. Replacement of High Speed Internet Cable and Power Cables. Salvage: Ships, Dry Doc, Metal Constructions, Cargo Crane, Cargo Pontoon. Installation of deck support columns. Support vessel propulsion system video survey. Cleaning. Hull cleaning with Brush Kart Machine. Propeller polishing
