Inspect (for fitness to transport) deadweight-cargo-bearing vessels (docked at US shipping ports), and to determine the actual deadweight of such cargo loaded, by employing current deadweight surveying techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities included driving throughout JAMAICA to get to Bauxite and Alumina ports therein so as to gain access to deadweight-cargo-bearing vessels so as to perform conditional and DRAFT surveys to determine the true deadweight of such cargoes, so as to report accurate figures for governmental revenue purposes.
